When asked to come up with some "out there" concepts, we were nearly knocked off our chairs when Ryan came back with these.
Based around a number of key aquatic life forms, these chimerans really engaged our creativity. So much so that Paul Goodenough even wrote a few scenes into the film to highlight the wonderful work Ryan had completed.
Acting as fisherman, ironically bringing large swathes of fish back to humankind for consumption, these amphibious fish chimerans form a key part of the farming community within the Camp.
The featured chimeran, the Silver Necked Kelso is the concept we chose to progress, forming a large part of the Camp, but unfortunately a smaller part of the story. Wonderful attention to detail from Ryan however.
